Why Intermediate Schools?
Evans Bay Intermediate School is a school designed specifically for emerging adolescents aged 11, 12 & 13. Our programmes are designed for this age group, our teachers love teaching this age group, and we provide sports and cultural opportunities that see us compete and share with the other intermediate schools in our region.
Adolescence is a unique time in life and is the first step between childhood and early adulthood. Evans Bay Intermediate School is set up to target the needs of our students using our guiding values of Respect, Whanaungatanga and Success in all aspects of our school experience.
